Producer Dana Satler Hankins is the president of Redhead Productions, an entertainment company active in theatrical, television, documentary, and commercial production.
Theatrical credits include Hollywood features THE TEMPEST (dir. Julie Taymor), STAKEOUT, BIRD ON A WIRE, and SHORT CIRCUIT, as well as the critically acclaimed independent release, PICTURE BRIDE. Earlier credits include BLUE THUNDER, WARGAMES and AMERICAN FLYERS.
Her most recent short film, CHIEF, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
For Hawai’i audiences, Hankins produced independent films MOONGLOW, THE LEMON TREE BILLIARDS HOUSE, DANCING WITH THE LONG BONE, and TRUE LOVE AND MIMOSA TEA.
Documentary credits include projects for National Geographic Television, Discovery, and the History Channel.
